20 Minute Appetizers from Bumble Bee

Are you looking for some easy appetizer recipes that take less than 20 minutes? I’ve got some awesome apps that will be perfect at your next party or serve them for dinner!

I’ve teamed up with Bumble Bee to create some amazing appetizers from some of our favorite Bumble Bee products.

You can keep the ingredients on hand (you probably already have them in your fridge and pantry) and make these delicious appetizers your go-to party recipes when you need a quick side dish.

Spicy Tuna Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 can Bumble Bee Chipotle & Olive Oil Tuna
  • 2 Tablespoons of mayo
  • 1 Tablespoon diced red onion
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • Butter crackers
  • Paprika

Instructions

  1. Open tuna can and drain.
  2. Mix tuna, mayo and red onion.
  3. Place a small pile of lettuce on each cracker.
  4. Place a tablespoon of the tuna mixture on top of the lettuce.
  5. Sprinkle with paprika and serve.

Spicy Tuna Spirals

These spirals can be put together in a few minutes. The longer you have to let them "set" in the fridge the better, but you can serve them almost immediately.

Ingredients

  • 1 can BUMBLE BEE® Prime Fillet® Albacore Tuna with Chipotle & Olive Oil
  • or
  • 1 can BUMBLE BEE® Prime Fillet® Albacore Tuna with Sundried Tomatoes & Olive Oil
  • 3 Tablespoons of mayo
  • 1 Tablespoon diced red onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1/8 cup diced celery (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • Tortillas

Instructions

  1. Open tuna and drain.
  2. Mix together tuna, mayo, onion, garlic, and celery.
  3. Spread on a tortilla.
  4. Sprinkle with lettuce.
  5. Roll up tortilla and wrap tightly with plastic wrap.
  6. Let set in fridge for 20 minutes.

Salmon Rolls

These are the appetizer version of our family favorite salmon turnover recipe. They are easy to pass and folks can eat them with their fingers. These will be the hit of the party this year!

Ingredients

  • 1 cans Bumble Bee boneless salmon
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 1 bunch green onion chopped
  • 1 celery stalk chopped
  • 1 tube crescent rolls ( I use the low fat kind)

Instructions

  1. Leave out cream cheese to soften.
  2. Cook onions and celery in about a tablespoon of butter on the stove top for 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Drain the salmon and put in a mixing bowl.
  4. Mix together cooked onions, celery, cream cheese and salmon.
  5. Take a tablespoon scoop of the salmon mixture and place it on the wide part of the crescent triangle.
  6. Roll up the crescent roll.
  7. Bake at 375 for approximately 10 minutes.

Easy Bumble Bee Crab Dip

Easy Bumble Bee Crab Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon onion, minced
  • 6 oz can Bumble Bee Premium Select White Crab Meat
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • ¼ teaspoon worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. In small saute pan, combine olive oil, garlic and onion.
  2. Cook over medium heat until onions begin to soften. Make sure to remove before garlic begins to brown. Remove from heat.
  3. In microwave safe bowl, combine sauteed ingredients will all remaining ingredients. Do not stir yet.
  4. Heat in microwave for 1 minute on high. Stir. Mixture will probably not be completely melted.
  5. Heat in microwave on high for 15 seconds. Stir. Repeat until all cream cheese is melted.
  6. Transfer to serving dish and serve warm with your favorite bread, vegetables, or crackers.
