Menu Plan ~ Homeschool Planning

This is our second to last week of summer vacation! Can I just say, "Where has the time gone?!?!!" I started homeschool planning for the school year this weekend and I hope to finish by the end of the week. Three of my children are at sports camp this week so I have a little more free time to plan. Breakfasts will be bigger since my kids will be active all day at camp but dinners are going to … [Read more...]

Steak Stir-Fry

The next top round recipe is Sumptuous Steak Stir-Fry. I have to admit I was a little concerned when the beef people asked me to make this recipe because lately my kids haven't been big fans of stir fry. I however, LOVE stir fry. It is a great way to stretch meat in a meal as well as use up all those leftover vegetables. I am convinced that you can't really go wrong with ingredients in stir-fry. … [Read more...]

I know some people are hesitant to purchase marked down meat, but I have been … [Read more...]

I seriously could eat sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Unfortunately not everyone in my family shares this same love (as I have written about in the past ), but I thought perhaps a Deli Deluxe Panini party might … [Read more...]

Refrigerating Eggs

Something that surprised me during my trip to a grocery store in England was that they didn’t refrigerate their eggs. I spoke with our hostess at the hotel and she told me she didn’t refrigerate her eggs either. I am not a huge fan of eggs, but the ones I had in England were amazing! I found myself looking forward to breakfast every day. (It could have been their love of bacon as well, but I'm not … [Read more...]
