Chicken Broccoli and Red Pepper Pasta: Philadelphia Cooking Creme Recipe

Don’t miss Holiday Recipe Exchange Twitter Party November 17th at 9 pm EST! We’ll be sharing recipes, cooking tips, and giving away 3 $100 Sam’s Club gift cards! Follow me on Twitter and the hashtag #PhillyHolidayTips for all the details!

It isn’t very often that I make a recipe that is a hit with everyone in my house the first time around. Often I need to make adjustments and tweak the recipe before I get a thumbs up from the whole family.

This wasn’t the case last night when I made Chicken, Broccoli, and Red Pepper Pasta from the limited edition Philadelphia cookbook “Cooking with Pheeling.” Filled with over 50 easy to make recipes you can pick up a FREE copy of this cookbook at Sam’s Club during the Taste of Sam’s Club November 18-19.

Chicken Broccoli and Red Pepper Pasta

Chicken Broccoli and Red Pepper Pasta

  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 red pepper cut into strips
  • 1 tub Philadelphia Savory Garlic Cooking Creme
  • 2 cups cooked pasta
  • 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

  1. Heat butter in a large skillet on medium heat.
  2. Add chicken and vegetables.
  3. Cook and stir 7 to 8 minutes or until chicken is done and vegetables are crisp-tender.
  4. Add Philadelphia Cooing Creme, cook 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through. Stir frequently.
  5. Stir in pasta.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

During the holidays I’m always looking for easy solutions for dinner since we spend so much time baking and planning for our big family meals. This recipe was a huge hit with my kids and I was surprised how easy the Cooking Creme mixed into the chicken and vegetables. It is definitely a time saver in the kitchen.

Starting November 18th, Sam’s Club will be carrying Philadelphia Cooking Creme in double-pack 15 ounce tubs for $6.38. You can redeem a $1 E-Value discount on Cooking Creme for extra savings.

If want to try before you buy you can taste a sample dish made with Philadelphia Cooking Creme Italian Cheese & Herb this weekend at your local Sam’s Club. (Who doesn’t love all those free samples!)

I have a $50 Sam’s Club gift card to give away to one reader! Wouldn’t holiday meal planning be easier if you had an extra $50 to spend next month?
