Menu Plan

Well, last week didn’t go at all as I planned so this week’s menu plan is going to look very familiar to you. My turkey and the pork roast didn’t thaw in time for dinner so I ended up substituting with the nacho bake and whole wheat pizza.

Flexibility is the keyword for the week as we have friends coming to visit and I will be at the Apologia Live Homeschool Conference this weekend. I want to have food available, but also be flexible in case we go out for a meal.

  1. Next time you want to thaw something out fast, put it on the basement/garage floor. It will suck the freeze right out of it. FIL taught me that trick. I never would have believed it works if I didn’t see it with my own eyes.

  2. My week didn’t go as planned either. And as of 7:54, i have nothing in mind….LOL.
Off to think that through. Easy homemade granola is the only thing on the menu (and I still need to make it.) 🙂
P.S. You’re going to love the mashed potatoes. You can make them and stick them in the fridge for days. YUM!

  3. Great meal ideas!

  4. Yummy! Looks like a great menu! Have to roll with life. I know that feeling. I got sidetracked this weekend with dh finally coming home from deployment.

  5. See you at the conference this weekend!
