Menu Plan: Free Download

Last week I taught my first menu planning class. It was a lot of fun and I hope the women in the class learned a few things. I created a few menu planning printables (for the class) and I’ll be sharing them with you over the next few weeks.

Today I’m sharing my basic menu plan printable. This plan has columns for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as a column for groceries and baking projects for the week. Click on the link below to download and print the menu plan worksheet.

  1. Thank you for making a menu planner printable that doesn’t have specific days listed!!! I like to menu plan but not for each specific day. Each days meal depends on what I feel like eating and what I feel like cooking based on the list I’ve made. Sometimes I let my kids look at the list and pick what they would like to have that day.

  2. Happy Monday! Love your menu and that pizza looks awesome. Stop in and link up in my Monday Menu Plan!!

  3. Those whole wheat oatmeal pancakes look and sound yummy. I’ll have to try them before I start my elimination diet later this month!

  4. You are going to think I’m nuts, I just know it. EVERY SINGLE TIME I follow your menu link from MPM, French dips are on your menu….and on ours! Crazy! Yours is the BEST recipe, and I follow it every time!

  5. Just had your French Dip roast beef again. It’s now part of our permanent family recipe book. Great for a filling meal after a busy day in or out of the house….and the house smells SO good as it cooks.

You receive 100% credit for getting me moving on menu planning a few years ago. You ran a tutorial for several days on menu planning, and encouraged us to begin small with menu ideas, and gradually get ourselves to 15 meals we could go on. I added and edited my running meal plan and am now at approximately 76 different menu options, and that’s just the dinner options! I highly recommend meal plans to anyone who needs to get organized, and save money. I also have a list of lunch, breakfast, veggie, fruit, soup, snack and side dishes to choose from. It makes grocery shopping so much easier, and helps me avoid buying on impulse! You’ve made me a menu planning junkie!

Wow, I’m overwhelmed by your comment Tracy! Thank you so much! I’m glad I helped get you on the menu planning bandwagon a few years ago. I remember the series well because I just used it to teach the menu planning class last week.
      Happy planning! I’m a junkie too. 🙂

This is great! I have been toying around with a menu plan document of my own, but I love this one. Thank you so much for sharing.

Well, you have rescued me! I have a brother and sister in law that have health issues and cooking and planning meals is one thing that they do not do well. Due to severe illness, we are trying to get them on a routine that makes it easy for my sister in law to function without pulling out her hair. I had suggested a menu planner of about ten meals of their choice and that would be a good start. We could make list for groceries on a weekly basis since my nephew and his wife do their grocery shopping, and fulfill the items needed for the weeks meal preparation. Then here you are with all the simple ways to make life easier for us as a family taking care of our elderly brother and wife. Thank you for this example, I am going to try it. Also, the coupons are great too…..every little bit helps when living on a fixed income and having so many dr. bills. God bless you.
