Pudding Puffs

Pudding Puffs at The Happy Housewife

Have I ever told you about the time I tried to make cream puffs from scratch? I didn’t have a mixer so I was using a food processor. The dough was very sticky and I made the mistake of trying to scoop out the dough with my hand.

The problem? There are some pretty sharp blades at the bottom of that food processor. I don’t want to get into all the yucky details, but let’s just say it was a long time before I tried to make cream puffs again.

My family loves cream puffs, but I don’t think they are worth it. When I discovered that one of my favorite brands, Pepperidge Farm, sold puff pastry shells I was pretty excited.

Today I have a recipe for you that is perfect for holidays and it comes together in a flash! You can make the pudding in advance and you’ll have dessert on the table in less than 25 minutes.

Or use instant pudding and whip up an awesome treat for unexpected guests that drop by during the holidays.
